Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist located in Bengaluru. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, generating leads, conducting market research, and building strong customer relationships. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, formulating effective business strategies, engaging with clients, and providing excellent customer service to drive growth and achieve targets.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Blueprint & Technical Literacy: Ability to read engineering drawings, read tolerances, and understand critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience operating manual and digital inspection equipment (micrometers, gauges, hardness testers, optical scopes, or CMMs).
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret test data, recognize patterns, and use root-cause tools like fishbone diagrams.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written reporting skills to instruct production staff or escalate quality failures.
- Education & Experience: Typically requires a High School diploma or GED (an associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or manufacturing field is often preferred), plus 1 to 3 years of hands-on manufacturing or QA experience. Certifications like ASQ (American Society for Quality) CQI are a strong plus.
