Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi. Phoenix Advisers is seeking a Senior Manager - Accounts & Finance to oversee all accounting and financial operations within the company. The Senior Manager will develop, maintain, and ensure the adequacy of accounting and financial control systems. They will also provide financial analysis to support the company&aposs strategic initiatives, manage all day-to-day accounting functions, and ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional accounting qualification, preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, with at least 4-5 years of experience at a senior management level
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial planning, taxation, and financial analysis
  • Experience in managing and leading a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, multitask, and prioritise competing demands
  • Ability to balance theoretical and practical solution implementation
  • Familiarity with FEMA operations to coordinate remittances with Banks
  • Familiarity with demat operations for off-market transfer of shares within group holdings
  • High level of proficiency in using Tally ERP for bookkeeping
  • Ability to work with external auditors to close financial statements within predetermined timelines.
  • Oversee taxation returns and other compliance filings with the assistance of an external adviser.
  • Prepare MIS reports as required
